5 Things to Declutter After Thanksgiving

After Thanksgiving, it's common to find yourself with items and clutter that can be purged to create a more organized space.

Here’s a list of things to consider getting rid of:

  • Leftover Food
After a holiday feast, it’s common to have excess food. Assess what’s in your refrigerator and decide what can be eaten, frozen, or discarded. Aim to reduce waste by using leftovers in new recipes.

  • Expired Condiments
Check your pantry and refrigerator for condiments that may have been used during the holiday cooking. Discard any that are expired or that you know you won’t use again.

  • Extra Serveware
Following a gathering, you may find that you have more serveware than you typically use. Evaluate items like platters, bowls, and utensils that you don’t need year-round and consider donating.

  • Expired Coupons

Check for and discard any expired coupons or promotions that you may have gotten after Thanksgiving.

  • Mismatched Items

Identify and let go of any odd or mismatched serving pieces that clutter your cabinets.
